In a sobering revelation, national statistics report that approximately 1,100 college students tragically lose their lives to suicide each year. This alarming statistic has spurred Moravian University, nestled in the heart of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, to take a bold stand during National Suicide Prevention Month.

For Neema Mburu, an international student from Kenya pursuing a degree in psychology at Moravian University, this issue hits close to home. She tragically lost a cousin to suicide, and her passion lies in the field of clinical psychology, where she seeks ways to reduce suicide rates both nationally and within her community.
